The Cessna Citation X is one of the most popular small passenger aircrafts in the world. It’s nowadays the fastest civilian airplane available, with a cruising speed just below of the sound barrier at Mach .92. It is used mostly as a business jet, due to its high speed, very good fuel efficiency and long distance capabilities.
It has always been my dream to fly this awesome business jet, so I was looking for a Citation X Flight simulator to be able to practice on it and get a feel for the handling of the plane. Unfortunately there were not so many Flight Simulator Games on the market, that included the Citation X Flight Simulator. This airplane has a revolutionary cockpit, and I wanted to check it out in a realistic Flight Simulator Game and get used to it’s controls. When I found ProFlightSimulator, a pretty new game, and at the moment my favorite one, I was delighted that it included a Citation X Flight simulator, among many other Cessna Flight Simulator models.
I think, flying the Cessna Citation X is most civil pilots dream. It’s just such an great aircraft, which is able to fly long distances (Range is about 5600 km) at high speeds (maximum cruise speed is 972 km/h!) with lower fuel consumption.
